Quarantine happiness is a choice My quarantine life: I have done 4 quarantines since 11th December 2020. 3 were in Japan for home quarantine and 1 was in the Hong Kong government approved hotel. To be honest, I was quite enjoying being inside the little room by myself for 14 days. Let me share about my quarantine in Hong Kong. Even though it’s a little tiny room with a single bed, a tv, a boiler for hot water, a desk, and a little fridge. My daily life for these 14 days was pretty busy.
Here are my daily routines:
• Got up at 530am
• Walked on the ONEFit MiniWalker for an hour
• Showered and washed my clothes
• Have breakfast around 9am
• Do some stretching and cores
• Have lunch around 12pm Have a nap from 1-2pm
• Walk at the ONEFit MiniWalker again and did some weight training and yoga stretch from 2-4pm
• Shower and wash clothes again
• Teatime and go online
• Dinner at 6pm
• Find some friends to chit chat then go to bed by 9pm
I was learning how to live in a tiny room and did all my housekeeping that I didn’t need to do in my normal daily life. It’s part of learning and survival of fitness skills. I slept and recovered so well during that period. I got a lot of things done that I needed to catch up. I just think it’s about how you manage your time and don’t let the time to carry you. It’s about how you plan your day ahead and goal for that day. Unlike others, I didn’t count how many days left to go. I just did it day by day and was not worried about the rest of my life. Being positive on everything can help you to live better. I think it’s not about the quarantine itself. It’s also how you change the negative things into positive. A lot of people were complaining the food at the quarantine hotel. But I was so looking forward to it. I could not wait for every meal. I was gaining different experience by having the quarantine. If you think about it, how many people in the world have the quarantine life before. We were so lucky to have that kind of experience to share with and let your friends know what it’s like. Too many complaints can carry away your energy. Simile on it and be happy, I wish you have a unique quarantine experience just like me.
